Sourcing Marble Counterstops

I sourced the marble from Danby, VT. It’s the world’s largest underground marble quarry just 45 minutes from our home. And then I sent the slabs I chose to Proctor, VT after we had a template made.

The Before

I replaced all wooden surfaces and designed the marble to have a high back splash. Dave turned the countertops into cutting boards for friends and family.

The After

Clean and bright, including a new undermounted sink. I removed most of the upper cabinets, added a new sink and faucet. And art from a Rhode-Island based artist purchased at the Providence Art Club.
